Grayslake Central High School Student Council students are asking you to join them for our 25th annual food drive. Each year we collect food and monetary donations from our community to help those in need. We deliver Thanksgiving meals which include a turkey, bag of apples, bag of potatoes, gallon of milk and several boxes of nonperishable food items to families in the D127 and D46 school districts that have requested one. All additional food and monetary donations are delivered to the Avon Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is able to purchase approximately 11 pounds of food for every $1 donated.
Please note that a small portion of all credit card donations will be used to cover processing fees. To ensure 100% of your donation goes to the food pantry you can drop off/send your cash or check donation directly to Grayslake Central High School.
